JANUARY 16th
Commemorating the anniversary of the passage of Thomas Jefferson's Virginia Statute for Religious Freedom

For Parents

As a parent, you can spread the word about Religious Freedom Day to educators and parents at your school. Make copies of the “Free to Speak” flyer (see below) and give it to every family you know at your place of work or worship with students from kindergarten through high school.

You could also ask your school board to officially join the President in commemorating Religious Freedom Day. The local school board could send a letter to all the school principals letting them know the district recognizes Religious Freedom Day and approves of schools doing the same.
